Rajesh Panwar is a professional guide with extensive Himalayan knowledge. He is also the owner of Bharat Lodge (Homestay) at Agoda Village. He has helped me and my team with several treks in Uttarkashi district namely Tapovan, Nandanvan, Kedar Tal, Dayara Bugyal, Dodi Tal.

Rajesh is a profesional local guide that also owes a lovely guest house Bharat in Agora. He knows the area perfectly well, speaks very good english and is very reliable. At the time of the year there are not many treckers so the loge at doditel was closed. When we arrived Rajesh had the key for the loge, he opened and made fire, and a tasty chai and meal. In the morning, he also had made breakfast. We have seen some wild life and he also showed me the bird monal, a sacred bird from this area with beautiful colors, very similar to the pheasant. Great experience! I recommend.

I did Darwa paas Expedition with Baldev’s team in March, a non seasonal trek with high possibility of experiencing heavy snowfall due to western disturbances. I was touched by the hospitality, everything was well planned and managed. I was lucky as well to have experienced trek leads with good mountaineering experience, knowledge and ability to make decisions at critical situations. Tents, food and equipment’s were all top class. Never felt any inadequacy throughout the trek. Baldev is my first choice for any trek in Uttarakhand.

Rajesh is a very calm and nice guy. He took us thru to the lake and Darwa top and made sure we were all enjoying while at it! I recommend him a 100% The food was nice and the camping equipment was good quality as well. On the way we were also told about the forest line and the snow line and different flora and fauna there. The halts were well spaced and the locations well selected.

Rajesh is a very nice guy and helping by nature. He describes the matter very clearly. Also support the weak member of the group and continuous encourage us.

He is very patient and knowledgeful of the terrain en route. He taught us about putting up tents and collecting good wood for campfire. He also provided us with very good quality food. His own homestay at Agoda village was very good.

He is friendly and broad minded. He arranged everything for a comfortable trek for the whole period. We stayed for 2 nights in his rest house. It was very comfortable one, keeping in mind it's in Agora. He arranged nice food during the trek, I never expected it to be so good. We had various cuisines ranging from Maggie to gulab jamun. We had local dishes like Dalia, gulab jelly, etc. He helped those who were unable to climb. He was encouraging during the whole trek.

We found Rajesh through Sherpafeet.com on the day before our trek to Doditaal. Rajesh was VERY knowledgeable, informative and clearly communicated us our options. We told him our budget (which wasn’t much) and yet he was able to offer us various options which ensured that our trek remained within budget. Rajesh is an expert and he is amazing at what he is doing. Wonderful experience. We( me and my partner Sara) met Rajesh at Uttarakashi after our hotel manager recommended him. We stayed with Rajesh at his homestay and did the trek in a couple of days. Sharing time with Rajesh and his beautiful family was heartwarming. A relationship which is gonna last a lifetime. Rajesh's wife Sarita cooked for us the tastiest food. Prince- Rajesh's son showed us his cartwheel expertise and we had fun practicing yoga poses. Aditya - Rajesh's newborn daughter is a blessed won. Her smiles made our experience more wonderful. The trek was the best we had. Once in a lifetime experience. Rajesh helped us in every possible way and made us feel that we are in total safe hands. His expertise in trekking in thick snow is the best. This was our first trek in deep snow and he made it a wonderful journey. Best trek organiser! He and his team had ensured that we are not deprived of any kind of amenities, possible on a trek. Really a wonderful experience! Hopefully will be planning my next trip with him pretty soon.

I did the Dodital and Dayara Bugyal trek with Rajesh and his team. We had a 11 yr old on this trek with us. Rajesh did an excellent job in supporting the little girl complete her first trek with confidence. Rajesh had made excellent arrangements for food. We had a new menu everyday. Ours was the first trek after heavy snow in the region and Rajesh and his team did an excellent job of opening the trek route for the season, through waist deep snow at some places.

Undertook a trek to Dodital, along with my 11 year old daughter, under the guidance and care of Rajesh Thakur. A trek which is marked "Easy - Moderate" in the summers, is the complete opposite in the winters. The challenges include freezing temperatures along with snow, waist deep at some places. Further, the path gets damaged at some places making some crossings outright dangerous. However, I think the whole experience was an awesome one with the planning and care of Rajesh and his team. Rajesh is extremely knowledgeable as far as trekking in these mountains is concerned. He kept a very close watch on how we were faring with this trek and ensured that we could keep up with the desired pace. The living arrangements and meals along the path had been very carefully planned, making the whole experience a pleasant one. It was a great sense of achievement to have been the first ones to have reached a frozen Dodital, pretty much on the 3rd day and having the complete path and lake to only ourselves! At the end of the trip, Rajesh made it a point to collect feedback about what we thought had gone well and what could be improved further. All in all, a great trek made extremely fulfilling by an excellent and able guide, Rajesh. Thank you Rajesh!

We really had a fantastic time under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh. 14 of us went in a group. The way he took care of each and every one of was was awesome. The food that they prepared was delicious. I'd highly recommend him to all my friends whoever has interest to trek in Gangotri region. Kudos to Rajesh and his efforts.

In october-November 2016 we had a one month trip around India. During this trip we had a 4 days trek in the Utaraktan himalaya, with a very good guide Rajesh. We made the Dodital lac trek including the Darwa pass. We wormly recommend Rajesh guide, he totaly toke the best care of us, he knows very well the region and speak a good enghish. We took also 2 porters that were also very nice. Dodiral trek is beautifull we like it, may be other treks in this area are more beautifull, we don't know but rajesh can recommend. Note that most of the "guest houses" in this area are infested by rats! So it's much better to sleep outside in a tent! Our trek to Dodital was not too difficult but the day walk of Darwa pass demand much more effort and we had to sleep in a tent at the altitude of 3700m,it was about 7 degre below zero in the end of October.

Raghu is an amazing human being, humble and friendly. He has an uncanny ability to read nature and understand her well. He took us through Dodital trek, taking utmost care and provided individual attention to everyone when necessary. His eye for safety has to be appreciated. We went through a very tough terrain, devastated by nature which had witnessed a massive landslide. However, safety was always given the prime importance and adrenaline rush for thrill was always curtailed. This was also the primary reason why we couldn't take the Tapovan trek as it wasn't safe to take it. Overall a great trek, owing to this wonderful person and his team

Trek leader, food, support team and most importantly the hospitality was insanely good. I'll definitely trek with Sri bhaiya in the future.
