Did Hampta Pass in july 2019 with Ravi ji as our guide. Even after last minute cancellations by other trekkers, Ravi ji decided to continue with the trek with very few trekkers that highlighted his professionalism. As beginner trekkers, there was nothing more we could ask for from our guide. He provided us with top quality equipments and gear. Our safety and health was his top priority all the time - little things like using the oxymeter or reminding us consistently to drink water so that we do not get hit by AMS assured us that we were in safe hands. Food during the entire trek was nothing short of exceptional (we had gulab jamuns and gajar ka halwa at 12000ft which was a pleasant surprise). All in all, I would highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to do treks in this area - his work ethic and professionalism speaks a lot about his character.

Ravi should be the most professional guide that I have encountered in the mountains. His care of minute details speaks a lot about his character. The safety of his trekkers is his utmost priority. Of course, the food was great, and good quality gears. Would definitely recommend him.

Doing the Hampta-circle-trek with Ravi as the guide was an amazing experience.The complete trek was a delight & jst can't forget the taste of the food served to us at that altitude.He surpassed all our expectations in all the fields, be it food, camps, local knowledge, professional conduct of the whole trek. The meticulous way of planning trek shows the knowledge in the area. Providing good quality camp, sleeping bags and other gears and tasty food. Also warm friendly and addresses all the issues of the clients. Safety of the clients were taken care of properly.

I did hampta pass trek and chandratal with ravi starting from 30th Sept17. I trekked to Hampta Pass with Ravi last month and I think it was one of the most wonderful Himalayan experiences that I can remember. Simply put, Ravi is a pro when it comes to guiding groups through treks in these "often treacherous" mountains. His knowledge of the routes, weather, local population, and proper trekking practices is simply amazing. Ravi took extreme care in observing my response to trekking in the initial part so as to pace the later parts accordingly. Moreover, his explanation of the terrain on the whole was highly educational. Ravi is extremely honest, upright, and straightforward when it comes to dealing with trekkers. In all, Ravi was sole reason for an extremely successful trek to Hampta pass. I would highly recommend him to just about any sort of trekker.

I did Hampta Pass with Ravi starting July 8th, 2017. It was my first experience in the Himalayas, as well as in High Altitude, and Ravi ensured it was a safe and extremely enjoyable one! Ravi is very knowledgable guide, he understands the ins and outs of the trail he is leading. One example was when he led us to ford a river from a slightly different route, because the usual one seemed to have more water than usual. Ravi is also extremely cautious of the abilities of various hikers, and supported weaker hikers by sticking to them and encouraging them when the going was tough. Ravi also kept the camp very lively :) He regaled us with stories from his previous adventures and hikes, often peppering the conversation with deep spiritual comments about nature and the mountains! Also, Ravi has a great singing voice. I recommend having him sing some local songs(though he will resist at first!) During hikes, as well as after, Ravi was a great person to hang out with! He even showed me around Manali after we finished our hike (He is famous in Manali, so expect people to recognize him and shake your hand when you are walking around. I felt like I was with a celebrity haha :D) All in all, I think Ravi greatly helped amplify my first experience in this beautiful part of the world! I would gladly travel all the way back from Seattle to experience the same again! Keep rocking Ravi!

we went for hampta circle trek from 25 April 2017 to 5 days onwards. it was our first one and Ravi ji made this as delightful as he could, beyond our expectation. He is a very simple, friendly and a reliable guy who would take care of everyone at every point always ensuring everyone's comfort. he understands how to keep motivating and keep the trekkers moving at their ease. plus we never imagined the food to be this good that too on top of the mountains. his arrangements were excellent. i wish him all the success in his future. he is definitely one good guide choice anyone can make.

I completed a trek with Ravi from the 29th of May 2017 to 1st June 2017 in the Hampta Circle area. I wanted to complete a short 4 day trek which would help me acclimatize well for an upcoming expedition.
